want to try an easy Halloween watercolor printable?

Hey Reader, it's almost Halloween!

TLDR: Here's my Halloween Watercolor printable.

What's fun about this printable is that you can do it loose or careful, with markers, paint or colored pencil.

Traditions...

Look at these cute pumpkins! My mom sewed this costume, and it's travelled through each child and many grandchildren. Left pictured is me, and the right is my sweet youngest child.

What traditions have you carried through the years or even generations? Phrases? Items? Practices?

Traditions bind us, even ones we start now. One of the things I've encouraged from when my kids were young is to CREATE. To have fun.

My mom would come into classrooms to teach art or songs or stories. She created a world ripe to explore and learn. And today we get to do that with other women through in-person courses and online classes.

If you're new here, you won't want to miss this cute pumpkin printable. It is fun for all ages. (And has a little poem to go with it)

  • Slap on some watercolor, or grab your favorite colored pencils.
  • Print the face version, keep it blank, or draw in some fun faces.

Hey friend, You’ve been with me through some tender moments lately — thank you for reading, for replying, for showing up. I have loved each message you send.💛 These past few emails have been all about reclaiming joy, intention, and creativity — on your terms. And now, I have something special to share that I think you'll love. Next week, I’m opening something I’ve quietly been working on for a long time. I originally pre-sold this watercolor course before it was even conceived, and my early...

Ever wanted to change something, Reader? At some point in your life have you wanted to lose weight? Gain weight? Be all caught up with dishes or laundry? Be more satisfied with your job? Do more fun things? I wonder if we tracked a percentage of our thoughts of seeking/searching/striving for something. Something that feels out of reach. I have loved the work of Byron Katie. She emphasizes loving what IS, and the pain we inflict on ourselves when we argue with reality. What if... What if this...

Hey. A few months ago I sent out an email: What's keeping you from making art? The response shocked me. Aside from time constraints and budget concerns, do you know what the number 1 thing was? Health. SO many of you are caring for a loved one in their time of need, or you yourself are struggling with health challenges. And it takes everything out of you. I want to honor that. Thank you for the love and light you bring to the world, even when it's really hard. I see you. Whether you're up...
